What Is Roof Maintenance?

Our Premier Roof Maintenance Program is a new annual service offered by Ferrimy Construction which offers regular scheduling of tasks to keep a any roof system in a watertight condition and protect the longevity of your roof. This ongoing maintenance includes an annual inspection program along with cleaning the roofing substrates, gutters and drains, sealing through all roof penetrations, checking for open seams, and cracks, wall flashings, around chimneys and chimney flashing, and the chimney itself.

We begin with a thorough inspection of your entire roof system, including all flashing and hip & ridge and potential problem areas of your specific roof. You will be provided with a full report of our findings highlighting potential trouble spots along with notification of any issues that require immediate attention. If we find an emergency issue that cannot be handled during our inspection, we’ll provide a temporary repair – whenever possible – at no extra cost. If more significant issues are discovered, the Ferrimy Premier Roof Maintenance client will receive a 10% discount on all materials related to these repairs when done by Ferrimy Construction.

It is the continued maintenance of these items that will keep your building watertight and extend the roof’s expected service life. Roof Maintenance also includes the maintenance and repairs of other rooftop components as well. Some of the other maintenance and repair of the rooftop components will include but not limited to sealing all roof penetrations, skylights, and wall and chimney flashings. An annual snow and ice dam clearing service is also available for an additional charge.
